PataPata is a family business based in Anglesey, North Wales: a stone's throw from both Snowdonia National Park and the Island’s beautiful beaches. Drawing upon our rich Welsh heritage we create natural skincare and wellness products for families. Our passion for natural ingredients and love for the surrounding landscape means we are always on the lookout for new and exciting ingredients sourced from nature that harness the power of botanicals.
Following consumer and market research we identified the key areas that parents found problematic: sleep, skin, colds and digestion.
We only included ingredients that were necessary, natural and clean, and developed some of them based on research conducted by the Cardiff University School of Pharmacy.
We wanted our products to be easy to use, convenient and mess-free so we created a clever twist-stick format: the result is a beautiful range of effective balms.
Our mantra here at PataPata is to elevate the mundane: to make everyday activities feel a little less ordinary. We create natural skincare and wellness products for the whole family that look really, really beautiful. Fancy products for unfancy things.
My son was born in 2021 and I finally felt that limitless love and devotion I had heard other parents talk about. Instinctively, I was committed to only wanting the best for him in every avenue of life. We quickly learned that he suffered from extremely sensitive skin and severe eczema and so followed months of dermatology appointments and more products than I could list. Once the topical treatments had done their job, we were left needing to manage his delicate skin day to day and I was determined to do this in the most natural way possible. I did a tremendous amount of research and tested almost every product on the market. I was looking for products that were gentle, as natural as they could be and that actually worked. Essentially, I wanted a range of products for my baby that met if not exceeded the same standard of skincare that I expect for myself. When I realised it didn’t exist, I created it with our fantastic team and the result is Patapata: beautiful products using quality natural ingredients for babies that I am confident using on my own child and proud to recommend to my friends.
